Our village
was designed with community in mind. A place where we could gather, share, laugh and rest...a lesson learned from our Balinese family.
The Village, in Ubud, now offers 5 unique homes.............
A mix of East and West is found here, with two Javanese Joglos, hand picked and brought back from Java, raised hand by hand from the ground and buffed to their beauty, with all the modern comforts.
The "Lumbung", is part of Bali's unique cultural heritage. Traditionally it was used to store rice under the protection of the Goddess Dewi Sri.
Rumah Kampung is an indigenous Balinese "rumah" or house ... a found treasure from the island of Bali.
Rumah Tinggi, "The Tall House" is set up high above the Village, featuring a sweeping views of the rice paddies, pool and gardens.
Come and relax around our beautiful pool and sip a ginger tea and commune with nature, with others, with Life!
The New York Times recently published an article about the preservation of Indonesia's wooden houses and the construction techniques used in building them. We are proud to be among the designers, dedicated to recycling the dreams and maintaining the magic of Bali.
"IN BALI, BUILDING WITH HARMONY"
"Preservationists have been trying for years to save Indonesia's wooden houses,
which often display construction techniques handed down through generations."
